Right then, my name is Jennifer Moss or Jenny for short.  I'm 33 years young and I live and work in Cape Town, South Africa. have lived with TM since the age of nine.  For me it was simply a matter of going to sleep on a Friday night, with a slight fever and body pain, and in general having a really bad nights sleep, for a 9 year old anyway.  When I woke that Saturday morning, I was completely paralysed from the waist down.  My Mom realised that something major was wrong when she stuck a pin into my leg and I didn't react! Mom! well, to cut a long story short,that point onwards, I have lived my life with TM and in a wheelchair.

The SA TM support group was initiated by Tanishka du Plessis, a few years back.  Due to her busy work schedule and difficult health issues, I came on board in order to help take the pressure off Tanishka. well here I am, along with my friend Mart Uys, who got involved with the TM support group due to her daughter, Alet, having had TM. am pleased to say that Alet has recovered 100% from her ordeal with TM.

The SA TM support group has a total of 24 members and we are spread throughout the entire South African continent.
